Okay, it has been a LONG time since I blogged. I have decided that perhaps I should explain the out-of-left-field decision to go to Ireland.
I had always dreamed of going to Ireland. I'm not sure why. It's something like going to Israel. It was just someplace I felt I had to go. Not sure if it is the history, the music or just something else. I feel like my soul has always been drawn there.
My grandparents went there several years ago and had a wonderful time. They have both since passed away, but I feel that it's a great tribute to two people I love so much.
So I decided to simply go on my own and see what I see. Perhaps I'll get lost and meet new folks. Perhaps I'll learn to like beer. Perhaps I'll just have a fun time and have wacky new adventures in a place I've never been.
Any of that is totally good. And we'll just see what comes 'round the river-bend.
